The project for the track and field indoor arena features a two-story building.
Key Specifications:- Building volume: 156,000 cubic meters
- Building footprint area: 9,693.46 square meters
- Total building area: 12,378.79 square meters
- Seating capacity: 400 spectators
Design Features:The building is designed with an optimal shape to fit the allocated construction site. It consists of rectangular blocks closely adjoining one another, with an orientation optimized for energy efficiency and functional processes. The design ensures effective and economical energy use while maintaining required indoor climate conditions and other habitation standards.
The structure’s defining feature is its arch-based system, creating the arena’s distinctive image.
Facade Design:The facades use a ventilated system with composite panel cladding, three-layer modular panels (Frondside Frontop), and curtain wall glazing by Schuco. The building’s facades are divided into two adjoining blocks.
Materials:- External walls are made of gas concrete and clad with Alpolik A2 composite panels.
- The end walls of Block #1 and part of Block #2 are finished with modular facade systems (Fronttop).
- Aluminum curtain walls with decorative lamella elements are used for glazing.
Color Scheme: The facade colors are chosen to align with the building's functional purpose, with smoky-colored glazing and gray mullions.
Special Features: Vertical decorative lamellae adorn the facades, serving as both architectural highlights and sun protection. The materials used for exterior cladding comply with fire safety requirements, with a combustibility group of no higher than G1.
The arena is a modern facility, combining functional design with advanced materials and sustainable energy practices. It supports athletic training and events while providing a comfortable and visually appealing environment for both athletes and spectators.
The design balances functionality with aesthetics, creating a facility that meets both operational and visual standards for modern healthcare infrastructure.
